Mooi means "beautiful" "pretty" in African because the ethnic groups of Africa have had a taste for the beauty of the body and always bodily ornamentation.

The raw materials of this collection of old ornaments of festive clothes, necklaces, and bracelets were discovered during our travels on the continent of East Africa.

The necklaces of this collection were created in Quebec (Canada) in collaboration with the original SO Style designer.

These necklaces are offered in limited quantities.

Several are unique pieces.

The ornaments (beads, pearls, pearls, coins) of this collection of exclusive jewelry are signed SO original. They are "little treasures" discovered on the roads of East Africa.

The raw materials used in this collection come from ancient ornaments on festive clothing, necklaces and bracelets found in our trips to Eastern Africa.  Julie Bessette, inspired b these silver pieces conveys her taste for exotic jewellery.  Generally speaking, we’ve noticed a strong tendency for antique jewellery from ancient Egypt and Africa.

Each piece of this collection is a witness to the artistic tradition of ancient Africa transmitted through the centuries.
