The ocean has become the trash of the world
Did you know that more than 80% of the garbage found in the oceans kills human and marine life, from landfills to beaches.
Each year more than 400,000 flip-flops (flip-flops) arrive by ocean currents in Kenya and in particular on the banks of the Kiwayu Island nature reserve.
Ocean Sole is a social enterprise that transforms flip-flop pollution into colorful and fun artistic products to promote the conservation of our oceans.
At Ocean Sole, we process more than 50 tonnes of flips-flop per year. By renewing this waste into pieces of art we hope to draw attention to this serious problem on a global scale.
